MacRetro chat and rides thread

I need to take some time and split my downhiller for powder coating - anyone used anyone in Fife to do work ?

(I note that Windridge have suspended bike coating) and so would probably like to drop my frame in to someone local rather than post ..

Nice one. I'll look em up.

Bored of that project yet ? ;)

I just bought a '91 dynatech, similar to that which I also raced BITD after the Kona, so it will do until you crack :p

(Or until a bonded lug does hehe...)

Go for the brown frame as that will ensure that mine is still the most handsome eighties fat this side of the pond ;)

You make me laugh sometimes

What frame is it Iron Fairy? If it's a Wicked I'd go for the blue with yella fork. If it's a Fat, Monster or Buck I'd go hot pink. Cool timeless colours.
None of that gay coloured cable crap that you guys go for either!!!

Good work on the Glentress Campaign guys. It's looking like our 32 riders record is about to get smashed. Top work!

Any thoughts on staging a downhill race? Spooky woods top to bottom? All you need are two sync'd stopwatches (which I have). Check the watches at the top, send the finishing man down to the bottom, wait a few minutes and then send em down at minute intervals. Went down well at last years BDW.
