Gaz, you are aware I do not actually live in Edinburgh but about 5 miles south of the centre in a town called Loanhead.
How would you be coming to the east, car or train, car I presume !
12 ish would be cool, enough riding available for an hour or two over 2-3 miles of singletrack in a circuit. Pollock style riding but with more ups and downs and no man made obstacles.
We can PM important details back and forth.

velo- looks like the trip to the burgh might be off now

jimi, also have ordered the decals and getting the paint for the mini clockwork so will get it to you soon mate- finally some movement :roll:

Never mind Gaz, I'll see you at Dalby with all the bits you and AC are after.
Also some fellow on this site has offered me a Schwinn Sidewinder frame, I'm very tempted, its seriously old school mtb, an early stop gap attempt by Schwinn in the mtb market. A sidewinder is like a 26" wheeled BMX, half way between a cruiser and a true mtb, with 5 gears and caliper brakes :shock:
You can see one on the Firstflight bikes site. Dr S would approve I reckon

Actually got a pair of drum brakes that might be period right for enhanced braking but I was planning V levers if I stuck with calipers. Thanks for the pad advice.
