K, that is my argument about starting at least at Ardgay, I'd prefer to start at The Bonar Bridge.

I've tried to persuade them to YH and Bothy but they are having none of it, and with one of the guys being 6'4'' and weighing 24 stone I can understand it. They are not really mountain bikers as such they just like forest track and being in nice places.

Needs to be coast to coast TK, tell them to htfu. Mind and take the rope for the river crossing.

You think you've had a pretty good ride and attacked the climbs.. then you go and compare yourself against other folk...

The guy at the top is a pro - His average time for the climb was the same as my average for the whole 17 mile ride :shock:

Ach, I'm not particularly down about it Rob, it just brings home how fast these guys actually are - you watch them on TV, but it doesn't really make an impression.

I'm beginning to understand why people go and watch road races now...
