Everyone needs a break ZZ only took 10 mins with this mornings coffee :) It did ease on monday and tuesday but the bugs came in yesterday so we have another couple of late nights.

4 layers - Layer 1: Original photo, desaturated and darkened. Masked the original sky for Layer 2: Clouds from google stretched to perspective, Reversed mask to add Layer 3: Dark tone airbrush to hills and coast. Layer 4 Rain drops grabbed from google and used "screen" to blend over the rest.

Dark moody beach scene in 10 minutes, Done!

Oh aye, I'd wanted to do the Silver Glen a wee while ago too, but the weather put the kibosh on that.

Never mind the pronunciation.

On site micro brewery. Decent nosh. Good campsite. Free ceilidhs. Kids playground with zipwire. Cuillin on the doorstep, literally.

Kaiser - if you're on Skye you MUST go to Elgol at dusk/sunset - if weather is right the view from shoreline over the the soutern cuillin is one of the best ever

Cheers P, now booked :D 2 nights there and a week here in thon white hoose.

Kaiser - give me a shout if you have any skye questions, the family comes from there and we still twice yearly visitors.

as Mr P. says Elgol is one beautiful panamoric view, if you go there i recommend you book onto the bella jane boat cruise. they'll take you into the heart of the coolwans (cullins) at loch coruisk

i've plenty of maps, walking & scrambling guidebooks and skye/cullin photographs books to wet the appetite etc happy to pass them on for a loan.

PS YOU know that "thon white hoose" is on Harris and not skye?? skye doesn't have sand like that

Nice work TK :) I am prepared for the Scottish climate!

ZZ will be taking the crosser, should cover all bases.
