MacRetro chat and rides thread

I did something a bit similar last summer, but roadie-style. Road from the in-laws in Whitburn to Glasgow, to Loch Lomond, up to Inveruglas, parked the bike, put on the boots, climbed Ben Vorlich and bivied (bag not tent) on the way back down. Was gonna do some more walking the next day but the weather turned a bit crap so I walked off the hill, cycled back to Balloch and got the train home.

Was a good weekend and made me think it'd be even better fully off road. Always fancied Corrour to Dalwhinnie as a weekend.

I'd like to but I'm not commiting to the lakes until the last minute.

Well if you want to avoid the faff with getting a train all the way down to the Lakes, let me know. Train is faster and cheaper to Morpeth. I'll pick you up in the Yellow Peril and get you over to Coniston and back.

PS. Very funny bit of photoshopping there^^^^.

You guys should start a Ye Olde MacRetro Photoshoppe thread as there have been some beauts over the years. There's some real talent going to waste.
