Any advice on removing a xtr m952 crank arm, one side came off using the self extra bolt the other drive side did not, i dont have an octolink crank extractor tool, the old pedal round the block trick?

I do, if your still stuck by the time I pop over to Kaisers I'll drop it off.

Rob i think the drive side is fecked the five pence peice got pulverised and it looks like a crank bolt has been broken in there. Got it off by taking out the bottom bracket so looks like the middleburn cranks are going on with a good old fashioned square taper bottom bracket

I like that

Think I'll redo the dotty bike but this time in Ayrshire coo colours so IF cant sue me. Just like a fresian but broon and white with the pink BB.

Must get some rattlecan paint ;)

Following up on a conversation with Velo over the BDW weekend, we were thinking that a cross border skirmish was long overdue. I've been looking at some possible route options and was thinking of something along the 3 Tribes format we do down in the Peaks. The Border Ridge in the Cheviots would be cool. The Hairybaws could start from North o the Border, we sassanaches would ride from the south, meet mid morning, 3 hour ride and return from whence we came. We could do the exchanging of flags astride the border?
It would have to be later in the year but I think Velo's idea is a good un. What thinks ye tartan skirt wearers?

Si
