only one way to find out ;)

tbh a large part of it for me is the history, fats were the holy grail bitd but in addition to this the frames are very well made and I love the details, not sure on the ride of a wicked but a yo defo is the best singletrack bike every.

stumpies are very nice but not as cool :cool:
 
Looking at pics, I think the Wicked's geometry is a bit more relaxed than the Stumpy - the forks seem to have a touch more rake.

Hmm, the Stumpy might make a good donor bike for bits actually. And possibly use the Rockhopper's fork.
 
Sounds like a plan, swap the bits, build it up, ride it and sell on if it does not inspire, shift everything back to the stumpy nothing lost, I have some direct drive spesh forks if you need to mess red too.

Also got a period saddle that would suit you also ;)
 
I'll need to measure the Stump tonight, hopefully there won't be much of a difference, since I think it's right on the limit of fitting me.

I'll keep the saddle and forks in mind.
