MacRetro chat and rides thread

Although everywhers a slog for TK

Hardly Velo, I live in a city with train and buses, most other cities are easy to get to, it is really only the rides in the south west I have problems with usually because of the time travelling to time riding ratio... and the cost of petrol.

It is harder for Fifers to do Glasgow (unless they drive) as they would need 2 trains/buses, but we could see who is up for it and then decide a location based on what suits.

Although a day out in Stirling could be a laugh... bike run for an hour in the ochils, sprint up the wallace monument, medival banquet at the castle* and an adventure pint in Raploch.

*might need a new mortgage for this bit

Aye names in the frames, if someone wants to go but would have trouble if the venue is too far I've no problem travelling, I've done a day in edinburg before and got the train home.

Think we could also do a wee awards ceremony? MacRetro'er of the year, moaning cnut, sarkiest bastid, shitest/best bike, best off, and so forth...
