i can send you a box to put your life in if you want
stick it on the shelf behind the water tank and leave it there for 14/15 years or so

I should be looking for my box then- I wish I could remember where I'd left it...

hello all in Macretroland :D

A few of us East Midlanders (well 3 of us) will be making a short foray over the border to the Dumfrieshire 7 Stanes weekend of 9th/10th October. If any of you are in the area we would be glad of your company. I think we'll be staying in one of those pods at Mabie and doing Mabie one day and maybe Drumlanrig the other or something along those lines. If you're keen to meet up, then best PM me so I can let you know details closer to the time (it's still a bit up in the air at the moment), as I'm unlikely to be able to keep an eye on this thread.

Cheers :D

up for that to- drum is but a stones throw soo would be cool to get a ride in :D

As per maybe riding Gleniffer Braes on Sunday I have found a 16 mile circuit on the OS site by a bloke called rabbyl. Takes in Gleniffer Braes Robertson Park, Glen Park, Brownside Braes, Neilston and Neilston pad. Looks a nice wee trip oot ;)

I've read alot of his posts, seems a genuine bloke and looks a top product.

ZZ did you ever take the gazelle out for a spin? Wondered what your thoughts were?

got a nice rolls saddle and a matching suntour superbe rear mech waiting, so only some superbe levers to get it back to orig spec (and yes I know I have a problem with the details  )

if you ever see some at the bike station velo snap them up for me please.

Like the look of that Gazz. I saw a bike in France last year with that colourway. I was pissed so can't remember the brand but it was a lovely fillet brazed jobbie in Prestige with full M732 XT on it topped off with Mavic 231's. A cracking looking thing it was. Like a bike version of a holiday romance- if only I could remember names when drunk!
