MacRetro chat and rides thread

Ya Beauty Jamie :D

Now your better half has someone to talk too whilst your out riding with the MacRetro...........still up for Belgium next year I hope ;)

Best regards to the Dyer clan :D :D :D

hello all in Macretroland :D

A few of us East Midlanders (well 3 of us) will be making a short foray over the border to the Dumfrieshire 7 Stanes weekend of 9th/10th October. If any of you are in the area we would be glad of your company. I think we'll be staying in one of those pods at Mabie and doing Mabie one day and maybe Drumlanrig the other or something along those lines. If you're keen to meet up, then best PM me so I can let you know details closer to the time (it's still a bit up in the air at the moment), as I'm unlikely to be able to keep an eye on this thread.

Cheers :D

Was looking for a 10/10/10 ride and thus will be delighted to join you at either venue. Drumlanrig though is very well suited to retrobikes, it has a very old school feel ;)

yes have done both before. Loved Drumlanrig especially - very natural and a nice bike museum :D

Hope to see you there - will keep you posted...

hi all

Hi Guys
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.

Congratulations to you all Jamie, now your absence makes sense - I thought the seals were keeping you busy or you'd become a full time roadie. I hope the wee man gets home soon, there is nothing better.
Seals have been really busy lately. Used to be a full time roadie before dabbling in the dark side ;) Have been doing more road than MTB lately though this is more to do with time available due to work. I can ride back to work after lunch for an hour or two then home before driving back.

Definately mate, Heather and I discussed it on the way back from SSEC2010, and decided we would go in the VW and have a family holiday. Hopefully be able to take in a spring classics race while there, if the timings right.
You still going?

Jamie

Nice one ed, I'm working but if your coming I may try to take a day off :)

Jamie, I'll most definitely be in Belgium, I plan to have a two week tour with SSEC in the middle of it. That may be my only big holiday next year so I'm saving up :D

I've taken my eye off the RetroBike ball here and have just caught up with this thread.

Great stuff Jamie, absolutely delighted for you and your good lady, and lovely son. You must be wiped out, so thanks for taking the time to share the good news.

Cheers
Steven
