Caleb
Hi guys
Its been a while since posting but just thought to let you know that Heather and I had a son last week, at 00.53 on the 2nd, called Caleb.
I only got home last night from a week spent sleeping on hospital seats and freinds sofa's. Heather was rushed from Wick to Inverness as there was a sudden problem with her blood pressure as well as complications to do with her kidney transplant. She is getting better and is almost back to her usual self, though it was very close for a while. Baby Caleb is doing well, he was 6 weeks early and while still in the SCBU, he has left intensive care today and is in the less critical part of the special baby care unit. He no longer has any tubes or drips in.He is progressing well and the doctors say there is nothing happening they didnt expect, so their happy, I'm happy.
We are very very lucky with everything the last couple of years as they told us 3 or 4 years ago because of Heathers kidneys we would never have kids.
I will head down again on Monday and stay till Friday, though it will be about 5 weeks till he can come home.
Next time I will be riding macretro now will be at Glentress, havent been as active this year, macretro wise, though really looking forward to Glentress and catching up with everyone.
Just thought I would share my good news.
