MacRetro chat and rides thread

i've never been to shawlands

isn't that a coincidence ?

took me rts out for a post pentlands tweek ride
quite like it despite it weighing ,well a lot
pace no1 needs new brake levers i feel ,the avid sd 2's not hitting the mark
don't like the 4 bolt chainset either

two things:

uno - sentence should read - that isn't a coincidence

dos - RobMac has also started weighing things (but he keeps quiet about that)

Now - back to basics - Haggis's phone number :D

no i feel that the fact that i haven't been to weegieland is not a coincidence

its a conscious decision

wtf is shawlands anyway ,good bad or ugly (or indifferent) ?

rob mac weighting stuff is up to him ,he weights as much as we eat/drink on a weekend anyway ,mebee its an ecology thing

on another note spent the last few days clearing the loft (?) at wifey's behest
found me old amiga 1200 and a sh*t load of discs and stuff
lost the last few hours to sensible soccer and tetris and super hang on ....

you get the gist

Anybody daft enough to want to race at Kirroughtree in my stead as my ME is playing up this week. On current form one lap may be beyound me :(

Not bothered about the cash I paid, just dont want to see it wasted on a fails to complete listing in the results page ;)

shawlands

"South of Shawlands had traditionally been designated “Dry Areas” where pubs and alcohol have been forbidden, so people have traditionally come from miles around to shop, work and have a night-out in Shawlands."
