grippo

Top Tip.
If you are at all worried about your handlebar grips slipping under pressure pop down to your local sports shop and buy yourself a tube of bowlers Grippo.

Helps the grip to slip a little while the paste is still 'wet' but once set you should never have any problems with wibbly grips.

You will most likely have to cut the grip off when time comes to replace though.

Dave.

Some of my grips move and not once in 16 years of off roading has this ever been a problem :?

Maybe if I grip the bars like a limpet I'll be a better mtb'r but I think it unlikely.

I'm never sure how much perceived wisdom in biking is acurate and how much urban mythology such as if your grips move you'll die my son so make sure they're welded to the bars

My foam grips are held on with bar ends, they have around 15 degrees of rotation, never bothered me on a downhill, I actually like it, easier on the wrists than my fixed tight rubber grips

ok you fellas win, what do I expect anyway, this is retrobike after all. Where we settle for a large dose of functional compromise on a daily basis- off to squirt fairy liquid under all my grips for added comfort

Whats going on in AEC land :?

I was too weak of character to do the job but now it appears Si has handed in the towel on NE&Yorks

Blimey that makes our current political national situation seem fraught with disasterous consequence

Info on the Big Dirty Weekender has vanished too :?

I think we'll shanghai him into the MacRetro cause. Well we do take allsorts  would keep our FAT quotient up too.

Are you recruiting new members then? I'm sorry I don't have any Fat?? (or anything retro) but I do like my singlespeed On One which kinda looks retro. Great bikes btw- I see Clockworkgazz has one.
