Ha ha you can enter but you can never leave- garage queen soon I feel, pointless bike building is in your future my son!

Never, for like a true nature's child, I was 'born to bimble!'

Getcha pedals turnin',
head out on the single track
lightweight metal trundle
cycling into the headwind!

Talking of which, I'm off oot before I spew any more guff.

Quite right, just in from a run out with minicam and we had a blast, he still doesn't get the "hills are your friends" mindset but is fearless and very determined doesn't get any better- you getting a 2 day pass next weekend and coming to Ae ZZ? Looks the mutts.

Update

Well if everybody else is getting a project............... ;)
I am updating my 94 Stumpy singlespeed frame to something semi retro?
Hopefully, but I doubt it, it may be ready for next weekend. It hasnt landed yet but I have all the pieces just about ready to build. Some slightly more modern bits.
This one will have a SID fork to see how it goes, except for my modern Stumpy I always ride rigid. If I'm not sure I will put a rigid on it.
So hopefully it will be ready for next weekend and I can give it a good two days shakedown and get it how I want it before SSEC.
So who is going to what next weekend?

Jamie

I'm only going to Ae on the Sunday-got the kids on Sat.

.....not like you to put together a bike just before a big ride is it Jamie

The NEyorkies are riding down the lake district in April if anyone fancies joining them. looks to be the same weekend as SSEC though.

 Opps, I didn't know that- will have to shufty it forward to avoid a clash so the big guy who makes stickers can join us. :D

On a positive note SSUK is on August 14th and the BDW is the following weekend so I reckon I can make both if I set things up right

Just realised all my hols this year revolve around cycling at locations throughout the UK. Hopefully I'm going to enjoy them all :D

I have set up and linked the Aftermath threads all in one place, this replaces the "where when what" thread as the Turnout thread covers up and coming stuff.

I still have to search and complete 2008 but some aftermaths are within the ride threads so it ain't easy - If I have missed out any aftermath threads please let me know, pm me a link if possible.

I'd also like to link to recce rides like Mr P's and Zigzags, I'll get to them eventually.
