MacRetro chat and rides thread

I might be able to sneek in another outing but 27th is the date for our Hambleton Hills ride. Would love to try oot the Drum too- looks great in your reports.

Very impressed with Gil's Surly 29er and wouldn't mind trying another out around the Drum's roots.

Last week in Feb sounds good to me, would prefer Sunday 28th, can probably swing Sat 27th if I need to though.

Any of those dates is fine for me, though given the choice prefer riding on a Saturday due to early start at work on a Monday.

Will be at Pollock park most weekends too if anyone is into that ;)

I'll happily do Pollock as long as its not a 9am start, 10am onwards is better for me as regards the trains :D

Last weekend of Feb good for me for the Drum, Saturday preferred but Sunday possible.

Need to get some SS training in for SSEC.

Discs ?, Modern ?, what is this strange language you speak ?, soon you'll be riding a big Burly Hucker , freestyling big time, getting down with the young team and grabbing three feet of air of every clump of grass

Grab On MTN2. Still available at CRC and very comfy too. I have them on 3-4 bikes now. You need to glue them on though. I use Automotive Trim Spray Adhesive Quick squirt inside the grip and then quickly swish and roll the grip between finger and thumb to spread it around and then slide it on. Be quick though as it goes off pretty sharpish.

grab-ons
an old dale i bought has them fitted ,i'd forgotten all about them
used them on motorbikes bitd
