MacRetro chat and rides thread

Unlike you guys I hated computers not helped by the fact that computer courses when I was at school used Sinclair ZX-1's. Wee brother was a Spectrum follower though, he mapped the entire house of Jet Set Willy so he could get through it even faster

Did become a bit more literate when my father got a compact Mac from his work, one of those hardrive and monitor box combo's with the tiny screen. He still has it in the attic and it still works perfect. Then inherited my brothers Mac Performa 600, amazing graphics card stuff in its day but now antique, currently have an old Mac iBook and this fujitsa Siemens Amilo laptop I'm typing away one handed on

Now I view PC's as a necessary evil and look forward to the sci-fi days of just talking to your computer and all the complex stuff taking care of itself

oooo forgot I had a Mac in there  one box affair pre iMac

There's a company working on voice recognition to replace using your hands . I'd feel like a dick talking to the thing though

Yo Velo, did you see in The Journal that the Scottish members of the RSF have a ride in the Borders coming up?? Do you fancy meeting up for a bit of rough??
