MacRetro chat and rides thread

I actually had a peeky look down the wickeds seat tube and can see a bit of crud :? Indeed more care needed. Though as |I'm moving to retro only on the good rides it shouldnae be too much of a problem.

someone posted a thread about one of these self tightening BB that in theory would be a good solution to the thorny press in BB issues, just waiting on someone confirming that they fit and work properly as at the moment it is the very scottish verdict of not proven.

I've just gotten myself a set of Eno's and they may be destined for the Wicked. Should I need to bugger about with axles and wotnot I'll look into modifying shimano axles to suit.

 I'll admit I haven't even looked at it since glentrool. The nondrive side is a bit wobbly still.

you should check out the lenght of the spindle, the cooks need a big one oh er matron- rody is taking orders for spindles at $45 plus postage which is pretty good (see fat cogs) but eno might be the solution- what size do eno's take anyway do you know?

Cannae mind, I'll get round to it some time  . Needing to have a rethink on what the Wickeds gonna be for :? With the salsa and kona riders its a bit of an odd peg.

"period garage queen", embrace the pointlessness and after a few days the decadence becomes very comforting like a big warm blanket

rody is closing orders on a spindle purchase on the 16th so be quick if you want one he says he's not doing it again.

thats the way all the other builds are going, I'll ride them very occasionally. Means I have to work out what to do with all these boutique parts
