bet you need a big travel frontend for that ,or mebee a soft tail

god i'm bored

Those bars on such a slack angled bike look great Gaz. I love those 80's slack angled bikes, I have had a ridgeback and a schwinn like that in the past, theyre great downhill but not so good going up.

As for entering BOTM, never !!! You need a polished restored bike for that and unlike you lot of concourse restorers I just ride them. To restore the white lightning or the cascade to those levels would cost a fortune just for the paint job. No way am I doing that, plus all my bikes are gates which will just get slagged off as their proportions are all wrong.

Disc Forks and Super Cycles disc brake adaptor are here and thus once I've got my disc rotors the conversion of the Alpinestars can begin :D

I like the look of them, although they may be too short when it comes to the actual riding... so shouldn't be a problem for a garage queen ;)

Black plastic chain thingummybob on the back wheel needs to go though - you take that off and I'll consider ditching my pink chain.

Lbs removed it this morning zz ;)

Gazz you never did tell how the mini clockie went down?

Also q for singlespeeders, bought a new sprocket and its really slack fitting. It has a wide interface but its still quite wobbly, anyone had any concerns about this before? I've got my eye on a pimpy one but want to test the ratio first.

not really kaiser most of mine have been pretty snug fitting- what ratio are you trying out? I've got a tensioner coming for the you so I can convert to 18 but have a few you can try?

here is Cam on xmas morning, he was very happy albeit we have only been out once in the snow as I didn't want to put him off with a fall which would be on the cards with the weather out there.

however he was a bit happier with this (as was I ;))

Its a 32/20 for the 29er. I'll suck it and see, just didnae want to trash the hope freehub body. If it suits I'm going for a nice one either a niner one or a guy on mtbr who makes his own really nice and reasonable ones.

why the tensioner for the yo? and what one did you go for.

Don't think I have a 20, sounds good what's the cog like, I have a king 18 that I want to use on the you hense the tensioner, going for a black rollhoffererererer one I got from CK on here.

Is the kona nearly done then?
