MacRetro chat and rides thread

Jimi, there is a trike based on the rear half of a Toyota sports car, motorbike front on ebay at the moment, looks really smart. Also a hardtail custom trike frame for a reliant engined based trike

Whats it like snow wise in the west, we got a dump of several inches of snow last night here in Midlothian. District has almost ground to a halt, roads that normally never get covered for long have vanished beneath the whiteness and stayed that way. Been out on a 6-7 mile circuit, only cyclist but met my ex girlfriend out on her Nordic Ski's

Ordered a rigid trials fork for the Alpinestars with a disc mount so its coming along nicely as my trail centre bike :D

JimiHendrix sorry about your trike nightmare ;)

Funk me, that's stunning, is/was it yours ?

Snow is'nt too bad in the west Velo, well here in Paisley anyway, was snowing pretty heavy yesterday but it soon cleared (maybe the young team scared it off  ), pavements and minor roads are still trecherous though

But seriously this will be how my trike will look, engine in front of the wheels not behind as they usually are. So Ive worked out how 'not' to have 5 reverse gears and one forward (think about it).

Cool, yeah the Beetle transaxle is turned round so gears need sorting, also notice the guy from Badasstrikes uses an empy gearbox casing between the transaxle and engine, the one you posted looks like it runs the same set up.

Road to the left usually busy, next to nothing on it today and the same throughout the district. Mr Panda probably used to this but us pathetic SE Scotland types are a bit out of our depth
