Please stop all this motorbike stuff, I'm trying to ween myself off them, done to many winter miles on bikes but cannot afford a summer only bike.

Only kidding, bikes are cool

The lure of a classic 60's Triumph Scrambler has become too much over the last year.

Mrs Panda did her CBT a couple of years ago then her SL125 packed up - as if I haven't enough to do

Velo - I visualise you on a Zundapp :D

......or perhaps a Neval Cossack combo, complete with m/c gun mount on the chair

And forget the italian stuff - with sole exception of the Laverda Jota its all too wee for lanky guys like us  Tried a Guzzi LM1 once - knees kept banging off the cyl heads.

Now - cycle stuff - wife has just announced she wants to go to school reunion on 29th Jan, throwing Dunkeld into the melting pot

We are about to have a healthy discussion

This place will finish me off i swear, woke up an hour ago with a word in my head TRIKE  , it's all RobMac's fault for mentioning he has a VW motor for a project  , been trying to picture it in my head and how i'd build it, compact custom job with beer barrel fuel tank, long stinger exhaust on the VW motor, huge chrome yank wheels and tyres, off to scour E-bay and Google images now till about 6am DAMNIT

These are the best i've found though :),

badasstrikecompany.webs.com

the yellow one is superb :), prefer small simple machines to the multi seat monsters, Billy Connolys is pretty awesome though.

Turning the VW motor round and running it mid engined seems a great idea.

Erse, why do Edinburgh bike never fail to dissapoint  2 out of the 3 things I ordered were unavailable. They consistently seem to be crap.

they've always been like that

think they're in deep fiscal shit too if rumors are to be believed

All this talk of trikes, and no one's mentioned Robins yet? :D Anyway, those wheels are all the wrong way round - Always had a soft spot for the Morgan 3 wheelers and the various modern replicas, although they seem to have been built for dwarves only.

While I'm off in cloud cuckoo land, I'll have an Ecomobile too for when it rains:

My Edinburgh Bike order was dispatched yesterday :) Looking forward to my £11 Ti skewers - no wonder they're in the financial poo.
