acht well :( i'm selling the green ano bits and going full-on purple :D :D

Strange this - I'm not an anno freak in any way, but having just acquired a load of purple anno bolts, skewers n'stuff, plus already being the proud owner of a Hope Ti front with ultralight mavic rim on the C16R - I find myself in the odd position of "urgently needing" a Hope purple anno rear hub  Preferably Ti

Bloomin' Retrobikes

i have the very early screw-on type purple ti hub with a sachs 8 speed cassette on a m-231 mavic rim that i'd like to pair up with a front for the newist project :D

Look on the positive side Eck, your not a Monday to Friday 9-5 guy. I don't get to ride midweek so when the weekend comes Glentress is well crowded

thats true  i'll be working mega overtime inc saturdays and sundays but i've 100% got the 6th and 7th of december off :D

just the frame dimentions , what you got purple then ;) a ti hope front hub ????

Will do, at work just now so it'll the morra, I have purple skewers/seatbolts/hubs/bars/brakebooster/straddle rods/headset.

I'm going to take a photie anyway so you can have a perusal. It all started with a pair of straddle rods and got out of control. I was going to put together a 3DV build at some point in the future.

cool , can't wait for a gander

Is that MrP's doppleganger in those pics

Haha - hadn't noticed that - I was thinking ZZ's elder brother :D

I have HAIR this week y'see :D (well sort of, around the ears and horizontal circumference of the bonce, rear 3/4 only)

Upper part of napper still has Albedo of nigh on 100% ;)

Oh - look it up if you don't know. Cue = Vangelis ;)

yeah I had noticed the similarity with Mr P!

I had thought about a cross country run from dalmally train station to carron bothy, but it would be a fair yomp cross country- and it does look like a small bothy so might need a tent just in case.

Been at Glentress today and rode yet another bit of secret singletrack, really good :D

You go down the first red descent past the free ride park but when you reach the first left hand hairpin you go straight ahead on some narrow rooty singletrack. Eventually dumps you on the road near the end of the red descent with three exits of hard to relatively easy to choose from.

My new fat Gnarly tyres are fab, you can bank further and survive impacts better. I recommend ZZ that you go for an agressive tread for Drumlanrig its well muddy and rooty, fantastic though you lucky beggars :D

Jammy bugger

x2 sounds ace mate, good hidden trails if the tress is the big bash venue

Feck - hadn't realised I was STILL THAT handsome

I'll try to scout a bothy on the N Shore of Loch Etive tomorrow am - time permitting, have to get home early pm

If it looks good there could be a brilliant route here, possibly involving a short cheap ferry crossing :D

Think Bridge of Orchy as a start/finish point, with one overnight stay. Two overnights if you want as there's a bunkhouse joined to BofO Hotel for the West Highland Gayers

(did I spell that incorrectly?)

Sounds good Mr P. get scouting ;)

You also suggested Cape Wrath, now that I'd like to do one day, you can get a sew on badge from somewhere if you cycle to Cape Wrath, badge of honour

:( well its more than possible old faithful is of to a new owner.
