Ooooh, he's got a bike that he can nickname the 'uni-bomber' and suddenly he thinks its all that... Bah, its pink cables will be quivering at the first serious bit of downhill. And I'll take my sticky OEM Suntour forks over a pair of silky smoov bombers any day... Funnily enough, I was seriously thinking about enid's Junior Ts (for about 5 minutes). Maybe a tad heavy for XC though Still thinking about a nice light pair of modern air 140mm though.

Question for ya: Do the Bombers have disc mounts?

Yeah they do have disc mounts but won't be going down that road some black avids will do for now. Hows the stumpmeister coming along?

No real progress on the Stump, really need to get off my arse and strip it down and call the powdercoat bloke. Actually, nope I'll keep it as is in SS mode for the NWA meet, then strip it down after that. Gil's about ready to print the decals though, and I had a bent spoke replaced and had the rest tightened on a rather minty set of wheels for it.

Up for a mid-week trundle at the Drum, definitely. Fat grippy tyres and disc brakes ready.

YES/NO Question

Simple Question MacRetro Riders :

Do you have the stomach for helping me organise one weekend event for the national rides calendar. Baring in mind its a lot of hassle and we are geographically quite spread out. A simple yes or no is all I want and I will not think any the less of anyone who does not want to go for it. I will not organise one entirely on my own.

I personally think it a difficult task to encourage the English majority to make the effort to come up here for anything less than a big bash. Past evidence has shown only Dr S, Sithlord and Alpwilli were prepared to cross the border and they live near the border !

Should the answer be a negative then we just continue with the status quo and Mr K can be disapointed with us which I can survive quite frankly.
