I'm doing one in the lakes with them in January. Sound hard as fook but looking forward to it. Re-fitted the original mudguards to the Stumpie to get 'the look'.

Its a good club, the articles in the mag are great. They can be a little fuddy duddy but those boys are tough buggers and really enjoy their riding and thats good enough for me.

Few Scottish routes on the site, always good to have some more up the sleeve.

Scottish guys are quite active and always up to something. Why don't you join, its only £1 a month.

Velo would love it

Gazz - I'll bring the seat on the 21st and you can see what you think. Keep in mind it is definitely shorter than a standard saddle.

Sith - I'd like to avoid posting/packing so I'm going to give TheKen first refusal on the KHS frame.

TK - if you've got a spare back wheel with silver rim (freehub/freewheel, I don't care) that's in reasonable nick, I'll swap you the KHS frame for it. Don't go splitting a decent wheelset or anything, but if you've got a spare back wheel kicking around that is unloved and unused...

If you don't have a spare wheel, I'd swap you for the alivio cranks instead - should be able to use those eventually.

Always meant to join the rough Stuff fellowship in my CTC touring days but never got round to it. I have taken my touring bike over a pass in the Cairngorms resplendent with panniers and thought at the time I really should join :D

Might do soon, it is my kind of thing, sad but true

Not inventoried whats up for Karma yet as I get home in the dark and all my stuff lives in unlit sheds. What I do have that will definitely be included is a:-
Balistic suspension forks for a 24" wheel with clamp fitted 1&1/8th" threaded steerer.
Suntour Wishbone 7speed thumbies
Rigid steel fork with U-brakes and long threaded steerer for 21.1 mm quill stem.
Other stuff as yet to be unearthed.

Wishbone Thumbies are Karma stuff so they cost you nowt other than postage which I will also throw in seeing as Xmas approaches. They are basic plasticky things, indexed but probably frictionable as well. They mount below the bars and are quite a good concept but trigger shifters were probably close on their heels which cancelled the advantage.

PM me your address and I'll dispatch them, I'll take care of the RSF membership myself :D

ZigZag you can have the rear wheel, how do I get it to you - will you have a car at the xmas bash?

On the frame front if you are going down to the NWA meet Sithlord could get the frame via Si or someone closer to him.
If not I'll take it at the next meet I attend - it would make a great winter bike.
