The Ken stepped into the firing line by seconding Mr K's suggestion I should volunteer for this co-ordinater bit so in revenge I've mentioned to Mr K he'd be a good deputy as he's further up north than most of us :twisted:

So Si are you your area co-ordithingy, me thinks you'll get volunteered if your not :roll:

All this seems a bit OTT by the way, a bit too corporate but its easier to battle with from within so i'll give it a go if no one else MacRetro wants a go.

I think its a good idea and it gets my full support. We need more rides and meets on here and these things are always easier if there is a proper framework. Its always been anoying when you put up a ride with a date and then some other group puts up something next door on the same day. There are too many folk who just don't bother too even if a ride is on the doorstep. By getting organised it gives it a little more gravitas and will get more people out and about.

Anyway, you'll get some exclusive RB swag so its got to be a good thing

No one else on our patch has come forward so I've put my hand up- just awaiting a response from my choice of Deputy (although I don't like the idea of a deputy- I'd like to split the title of AEC with them, afterall its a big area and requires work at both ends)

Was at a medical college that's getting an extension done so we were surveying existing services.

Anyhoos, this room was full of them. The weirdest mannikins i have ever saw.

couldn't resist taking a pic - and there was weirder stuff than that the cluster of a-holes i have as my avatar.

I kind of get the feeling that this level of organisation will be like herding cats but it is worth a go and I second velo and TK- anyone really, as long as its no me

Wish I was coming now on Sat. the trails where sweet, but local rides for me from now on- keep the costs down, however drum is local to me so if anyone is up for a meet soon, we can get velo and TK to investigate the logistics, make some pamphlets and liase with the other official bodies to get a date in the calander :twisted:

well the officials didn't seem to mind. was wandering around with the estates manager and head of department. they just commented they had other rooms full of bizarre mannikins. were pretty cool peeps.

i know it's a trickier topic with school builds we do as you have to get permission from everyone for that. makes sense with that though.
