MacRetro chat and rides thread

As I said hopefully starting early doors. Maybe 5-6ish for a bite? Maybe meet up about 3-4? 9-10 homeward bound would be easy.

Sorry fellas been trying to be good, fixing the bikes as aposed to blethering about then. Also kind of scunnered after the race that never was- old guy on an old bike is a bad combo, got the splatter serviced and feel at least the new girl is trying to help me fight my limitations.

Still up for the velo birthday bash, has someone posted up an announcement to get numbers and a booking? I agreed to do this so will do if nowt has happened as yet.

Bothy trip is a real cool idea, I will try and get some thoughts and ideas sorted with kaiser and mr panda for next year. I have one more pass this year so let's make it a good one- any ideas?

Zz I like both the mythos and the xc tyres think they are both very good and a flex stem will help with fatigue but front bounce is better if you are doing a trail centre.

Gazz I've started a thread in the rides section. And yes good idea to get things finished rather than talking about them  Currently putting together a build list for the 29er, come wages day I'll be hitting the button :) Going to have a go at rebuilding the Hopes myself as well.

Ok I'll hold you to that kaiser will need to come down and see the bikes and btw the clockwork has enjoyed a reprieve as the forks are alive again thanks to some lube, so putting her back to period and an occational rider.

anyone got a couple of silver v brake noodles they don't need on the scrounge for the mini clockwork it is 95% finished

mission for me this month is to get all my bikes ready to ride.

what's your macretro goal of the month, chaps?

Actually a CRC order for overhaul parts comes out at £70 and an overhaul is £90, might just send them away
