Just back in from mini college re-union night out in Glasgow. It's amazing how little people change in 20 years. And this is a good thing.

Pray tell why were you at a college for dwarves? Token giant student?

Feeling somewhat delicate this morning, just waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in. Sorry Velo, you were up and at 'em too early for me this morning - looks like you got the weather for GT though!

A gentle pootle around the Pentlands might be in order once ma heid resumes normal service.

Scooter loaded and ready to head for Glentress.

Slogged up from bottom carpark to bottom of towers climb on black route non stop and feeling good, only one low speed minor spill due to poor line choice.

Hardrock leans against tree at vantage point over the valley before the far too steep towers climb.

Eventually I slog slowly up the Kipps loop which is reminicent of the Inners climb last week during which Kaiser had threatened to punch me  At the top by the shelter I took this pic shown below.

From here I descended a great twisty trail before climbing slowly to the radio mast.
Now it was down spooky wood where I chased a pair of full sussers DaveDH style
Then a quick scoot down the road for the full blue route descent including a wee bit of free ride park and chasing down a further two full sussers through electric blue then down the glorious final blue descent.

A great day ;)

Lucky buggers, not had any riding time since Tuesday night. Was thinking of getting out for an hour tonight but just had a large roast dinner with a beer. Got some serious fettling to do this week too. I need to get the Yo into front bounce mode for the peaks meet. Need to swap the wheels and tyres out too as the peaks are no place to bed in new rims!

Almst finished building up the Goat this morning, just need to sort the brakes. Hoping to go for a blast up the road tonight just to see if I can get away with its sizing.

Nice one velo looks like a cracker of a day- I think they were frightened of the red and black tyre combo your like a deliverance type mt biker dee dee dee de de.....

How did the goat get on tonight si? And does anyone know what the profile of keilder is like?

Need to pay the piper tomorrow  Baba number 1's first birthday today and have spent the day with beer cakes and a chinese to round it off.
