On another more retro note, get yourself down to the dick institute in killie as they have a great expo on ayrshire inventors and they have one of the first bike of G orbree as well as one of the first pnematic tyres made by dunlop- pretty cool.

Was on the spesh today and really rate the ride and a raised stem and a modest riser bar comb- stem wise do you have any kaiser that would fit the yo?

Got a wee collection of stems in 1", ahead though. You could try them out to find a size but after the smell comment yer gettin hee haw

I really like the stem on the spesh and it has a internal router thang for the canti wire, however I suspect it is just cro mo and looks a bit rough, can you strip these down easily and re-paint or is it just as easy to get another?

I love getting a weekly dose of the dick, sometimes its scary how often I find myself going down to the dick, you must try it sometime.

Are we all going to have to get 2 tyres and carry them on our back to go with the wooly jumper, a pipe would be a nice touch too.

What is everybody riding this weekend, I will be out on the spesh cause it's great.

Probably cover 20 or so miles of tarmac on the BSA this weekend or maybe substantially less off road on my elderly spesh.

Going to visit Bike Station on Saturday so put in your requests for bits and bobs to look out for. Try and be precise in measurements required as you cannot return goods if they're not to your liking. However finds like the Kona P2's are extremely uncommon so do not have raised hopes.

Gaz, some of that list might be possible but I suspect scruffiness will rule.
How much reach in mm and elevation in degrees for the stem ? Seatpost length ? Headset threaded or not ? Brake levers and quick release skewers any spec or high end ?

About 110mm 30-40 elevation on the stem front and threaded headset would be cool, seatpost 350 up would be good and high end spec would be great but I'm on a real tight budget so beggers can't ......

Looks like I blew the seals on my Judy's - bloody right leg full of muddy water. Well, that explains why they felt odd last ride. GRRRR.
