Using the outer ring to pull the bike over a log was the accepted way of getting over such obstacles back in the 80's apparently :shock:

With a tandem chainset for the left side you could have a sturdy toothed bash ring either side of the bottom bracket for just such manouvers, now thats an idea ;)
 
Right lads appeal time- looking for something to train on indoors, great to go out but would also be very useful to spin abit in the house. However a trainer is over budget, anyone got a crappy old exercise bike, rollers or any other training thang that you don't use and want to repatriate to a loving home, then let me know.

Cash waiting or swaps can be arranged. ;)

VHS or Betamax? Anyway it is a work out for the legs I'm looking for not the wrist

Seems the muddy fox is away :( thanks for the wanted add heads up kaiser. Just need to get rid of the gt and then the s-bike can feel safe again.
