It's tough but it's the right way to do it... None of this 'pop it on the credit card / instant spending fix' crap.
Mind you, you'll be getting those wheels just in time for the wet, windy and dark nights... but then again looking out the window right now it's not like you're exactly missing out on summer riding.

Arrrggghhh bloody ebay knobheads! stung yet again - bought a wheel for minikens bike "smooth and true in good condition"
Massive flat spot (across 3 spokes) leaving one spoke rattling, (A big landing, this rim should be bombproof)
Dished badly to one side (I reckon even spoke sizes used instead of offset)
Pitted Cones which I noticed as soon as I took it out of the box as it spun so poorly.
And to add to it a bent skewer

I'll probably get a refund but at the loss of £8 each way postage.
sorry I needed a rant as I'd just spent an hour and a half changing the seized pitted cones - never thought to put it on the bike first and spin it.

I'm hopeful I've fixed the Velomobile, spent an hour underneath it this evening replacing the inline fuel filter. Previous one was the same as shown in my Haynes manual for Robins built up to 1983, mine however is 1992 so i upgraded to a modern one, seems to work so far. Extensive testing tomorrow will probably prove that fixed, it is not, but here's hoping
