MacRetro chat and rides thread

Forgot about stems, will look on Saturday at BikeStation, I know they have ones with wheels for cable routing, tunnels within stem for cable etc but all scruffy, i'll source a couple for you.

Shopping for coaster brake hub for Marks Raleigh bummer project

Anything else ?

Cant sleep with this damned heat :x , love it during the day, wish it'd cool off a bit at night though

Anyoooo, will be well up for Glentress on Sunday :) , can you scoop me up K ?, will chip in for gas and give you a wee shot of the Manitou as i'll probably take that

B.T.W Perry, 95% sure it was Plasticote Gazza used on the On one, remember him not being too impressed with it, he said it takes ages to dry as i've also found out with the wheels on my Polo, i think it goes rock hard when it does harden though, it's acrylic/enamil so not compatable with other touch up style rattle cans so once you use it you are stuck with it unless you strip/blast it all off again

was plasticote and a wee bit of thinner would be wise, if you are struggling with the heat jimi, you should try getting some kip here its boiling. Mind you, the loverly ladies at the pool make up for it  , enjoy glentress you lucky bastards thinking of going to the complex gym just to spin the legs

off to have a few more beers see you soon lads 8)

Beer and lovely ladies at the pool and you call us lucky

Hope you'se are enjoying the break

B.T.W may take those black LX cranks you offered me at Dalby if you still have them :)

Klaus, no 1" stems worth having, must have had a clearout.

Mark, Coaster hub sourced, see Innerleithen thread.

Feeling old and tired today, probably going to walk much of Glentress

great day today, not sure how I got home I was that tired and sore.

MiniKen conquered Spooky Woods! ...well only one spill.

Bits to remember...

Torrential rain that stopped as soon as we got the bikes out of the car - turned into blistering heat.

miniKen asking a bloke to pull over so he could pass on the first red climb :)

The endless climb to the blue downhill.... I had 2 bikes to get up there :)

Lots of fun in the freeride park - including Kaiser doing the big drop off when most of the bikes there had more metal in their swing arms than kaisier's whole bike.

photies please!

DaveDH was obviously not with us at Glentress on Sunday but it now turns out he had a good excuse, he proposed to his girlfriend and she (god help her) said yes !

So its congratulations I think :D

Yup, tis true...
In classic bloke style managed to spend a whole weekend looking for the perfect scenic spot, then went for it at a certain speed on the M90 somewhere in Fife!
