he measured top tube at 21 3/4 on the yo and I think I need more, based on my recent experiance-stumpie is 23 so will see how that feels.

SS Stumpy update

Hi Guys
I have been quiet of late but have been getting ready for SSUK 09.
Have updated my readers ride thread with a few changes to the Stumpy. I have fitted a Surly tensioner, different tyres and a H bar.
Experimented with the brakes but stayed with the cantis and the bar is brilliant.
I am up for the northern run for sure, not sure about Sthrath, its a bit boring if I'm honest as I used to live on the other side of the trails at Garve. I think Wolftrax, Red Rocks and Golspie. Not that it matters as I could ride round Tesco's carpark and still have fun with you guys. (not that I want to do that)

Sorry i've been quiet guy's, new job has left me with very little time for anything, but bags of money to spend on bits , bought some stealthy upgrades for the E3 :twisted:

Will be at Pollock on Sunday morning if that's still on, will also be up for Fort Bill whenever that happens (sorry if it's been mentioned, finding it hard to keep up with this thread , every time i get around to checking it there's ten new pages to sift through )

Ah, right, will need to think about that, not sure if i could go two nights in a tent :? , also not sure about the time off.

Got a new USE seatpin and fancy red Hope seatcollar (SP ?), pin shaved 150 grams off , a pair of KENDA light inner tubes (dont know the weight saving on these yet), also found your old Odessey pedals were 200 grams lighter than the ones i had fitted so bunged them back on.
