Really enjoyed the company and craic with the Mighty Mac yesterday. Shame I pushed the bike round most of the way 
managed to get a few pics which I hope to post up today at some point.

Sunshire- first time I have seen it in Glentress
The temporary detour at the top of Spooky- thick mud and rocks galore!
Trying to chase Velo down Britany Spears- Modern 5" travel versus steel Raleigh Gate. Retro 1 Modern 0
The banter and enthusiasm.
Lows
Serious lack of fitness and a very sore wrist making most of the day a painful experience.
Having Tunnocks Tea Cakes forced upon me.
Getting to the bottom only to realise that the van was back up the top and having to push the bike back up for 40 minutes. I don't think I have ever been happier to see a van!

I had possibly the best run at Glentress I've had all year, I was fleeing around the trails
Si was not as slow as he claims, he did catch and overtake me on Brittany Spears. If you want to seriously ride fast at Glentress then you do need a modernbike
Heres the only two camera phone pics I took that are not so seriously blurred as to be pointless
That hill is way steeper and more technical than it looks, in fact its the most extreme feature of the first half of GT's black route.
Thus the speed at which Si descends it in the second pic shows his modesty to be false, he can fair shift :shock:

who won the car park dash, best bike worst bike.......?
Home, great day, cold night -ice on tent before we got in it, miniKen work up at 1am and was sick (outside the tent-whew) so at 2am I did a 3 hour round trip to drop him at grannies, back in cold tent at 5. Fantastic hub breakie then 2 hours of chat and packing before the drive to get mk and go home. Mr panda, minipanda, and kaiser and slmracing were still riding when I left.
