looks like that shim has 1 1/8" inner diameter so it is meant for a 1 1/8" ahead steerer, right? just curious, haven't seen one before. is the clamp a split segment clamp like on the syncros and thomson stems?

Yep it's a bolt fixing like a syncros. Could someone take a pic of the bolt just so I can compare it to one in a syncros.
