At the first ever "pre-Retrobike being formed" meet in Chedder, I remember asking the people there what thety thought of that stem - Scant and I agreed it was bloody ugly looking and a little bit pointless.

Rare though and quite desirable from that point of view tho!

Machine tech

I think the guy who created Moonhead owns those bikes in the flickr slide show. A couple of years ago he put his prized Trimble on ebay with the Machine Tech stem attached. At the last minute he halted the auction because he decided he couldn't part with it. Every once in a while he'll put some very nice frames and parts on ebay. He is the American version of Jez.
