Hi all,
For sale I have a complete set of Machine Tech V brakes and matching Zeroflex levers.
I’ve not used the brakes at all since buying off Ebay around a month ago (hence I’ve used the original Ebay description & pics). I’m only selling as I’ve got a complete set of new Pauls V Brakes, a set of XT V’s and a new set of XTR V’s so these are surplus to requirements.
Also managed to source a pair of matching Machine Tech Zeroflex brake levers to go with the brakes which are used but only show very light wear and work perfectly.
I’ve test fitted to make sure everything was there and correct and then removed again. I didn’t set them up to use.
Ideally want to sell as a complete set or will split the V brakes into the 2x pairs and levers as one pair once dibs (and pm confirmation) are given for each.
The Ebay ad for the brakes as I bought them which was perfectly accurate:
Classic American CNC'd and anodized components from the 90's. Very lightly used, only installed and ridden around driveway, hardly any wear on the pads. Everything you see is included. All original parts except one barrel nut which was lost and replaced, you can see it on the left in the foreground, it's the brass one.
The Ebay pics:
One note as the pics don’t really show it and I want to be totally honest:
The 2x pairs of brakes are a slightly different shade on the anodizing. One pair are slightly darker than the other but you only see it when they are off the bike next to each other. You’d never know it once on each end of the bike.
The Brake Levers I sourced through Jeff at First Flight Bikes. Found by sheer fluke when buying some other bits so picked these up to make the complete set of matching brakes and levers.
All in, the whole lot has cost a few pence under £300.00.
Asking £190.00 for the 2x pairs of V brakes and £75.00 for the pair of levers posted within the UK. OR, £250.00 for the complete set (again, posted within the UK).
If anyone wants any other pics, let me know.
Cheers.
Alex.
