I was just mentioning that to mynciboy the other day! I found out to my dismay one day back in the early nineties when I got a puncture on a hill and couldn't get the tyre off...

but you could ride the tyre completely flat knowing full well that the tyre would NEVER come off ...bent several of my mums flatwear trying BITD

darn its a 32 hole, and if i remember right i had to cut the tyre off with a pair of plyers :shock: and the hub is an acera x

There is one NOS 36h MTB MA40 at Swinnerton Cycles in Fenton nr Stoke on Trent.

Ask for Paul Swinnerton.... He wants £40 for it though, That's why I did not buy it!
