Wanted MA2 or MA40 rim?

Hi @martinbnice really nice wheels. Comes down to cost really... not looking to overspend on over specc'd wheels for this build. Was ideally looking for a rim to build onto a hub i've got. Let me know what you want for them and i'll give it some thought. Cheers. Steve

For those wheels, it sounds like a bargain... but.. I think they're out of place on this budget build. (That all said, if you're within 10 miles of Corby in Northants and I can save the postage I'll make it work. )

Shame. I have no reason to be out that way. I'll leave it for now....they'd be way to god for this build. (What I would gave given for a pair of ma40 on campys back in the day though.... ) cheers anyway I'll keep hunting for an MA2 rim ..

If you'd prefer to avoid the wheel build, then I have a green label MA2 wheel with Helicomatic hub I can let you have for a fair price. I don't think I have the special cassette it takes anywhere, and certainly don't have the necessary tool, so just sat there doing nothing...

Hi @walkmanman I would be interested. Can I get back to you in 24hours..I am currently 'in play' on ebay on am option.

The missing cassette isn't an issue. I have one which I hope to be able to coax off the hub I have... its the rim that I need, everything can be worked around...I will get back to you either way tomorrow...

Bad luck about the auction, although I must say that people often get things a bit out of proportion when the bidding bug takes hold, so might just be for the best your having lost
I'd ask £20 for the wheel, if that interests you? And yes, certainly prefer a collection over the post office faff. I'm in NW London if you might be anywhere nearby/be London based.
BTW I just now noticed your comment on the cassette. I must say that when I'd mentioned a cassette I was bringing up possible reasons for not wanting to keep the wheel ie saying by way of general conversation how it was humorous that the wheel (without cassette) was useless to me so I might as well sell to yourself. But I think you missed this. So I wasn't just trying to have a stab of selling a cassette to you

Ha. If I could collect 20 would be perfect. ...but I'm not due in the 'smoke' for the foreseeable....I hope to find myself in St. Albans in the coming weeks and in which case I'll circle back and see if its still available...
