I'm looking at getting this one as it look like the one in the catalogue & I think it's from '94, although it is quite hard to tell exactly what it looks like in the catalogue, it's listed as a Kalloy SP-264 300L...

Should weight 240g (27.0 version does)

Mines 1993 (dates are stamped on them)

and I see Dave's post above now

I have an M735 rear mech if you need one? In fair condition and mechanically sound. Short cage though but will run a block with no dramas.

yep you are correct in reading it :D

It is what I believe to be the 264 as well.

According to bikepedia, the Montana Pro used XTR STI's so it could be 8 speed?
and some DX thrown in as well ? http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/Bike ... &Type=bike

thought that is a different spec to the apparent 1993 catalogue

odd

Isn't Dave after some of the same parts ?
Yeah Dave is after M900 I believe, but some of the parts for the 2 bikes are the same!

Bikepedia spec is unusual, I wonder if KHS used both 7 & 8spd on the Pro? different specs for different countries?

Kinda throws a spanner in the works, but I'll go with the actual catalogue spec I reckon

Though it was a date code :D

Would love it if it was a 264, do Kalloy stamp the model no. on the post, or is it just design/logo that separates the models?

i am more excited about seeing this built than i am about my khs!

from my understanding bikepeida entries for khs are us spec bikes. the catalogue i scanned is the european range.

Re: Brakes I have decided for now to stick with the Dia Compe ones on the bike at the mo, as funds are quite tight at the mo, I will however at some point want some M734's

Thanks to those who offered theirs up for sale.

Lewis1641, I wondered if that was the case with the 2 different specs, I'll carry on with the way I'm going then, cheers for the info.

You really more up for this one than yours? You're crazier than an inverse haggler ;)

I think I can pick the 095's up this weekend sometime, will let you know nearer the time

I'm still looking for the parts in the 1st post if anyone has anything suitable :xmas-cool:

Still looking for

M730/732 wheelset (or hubs) in silver
735 rear mech long cage
HG70 7spd 13/30t (other ratio's & cassette's considered)
