M-trax frame any good?

Looking at the image they do look 'butted/lugged' which would indicate bonding according to that diagram image:

ok, the frame you are looking at is a 1995 Raleigh M-Trax 2000. These are built with a Reynolds K2 Chromoly steel frameset.
The tubes are brazed with brass into the lugs. These are the same framesets used in the earlier Raleigh models of Summit, Peak, Ravine etc.
Also available in that range were the M-trax Ti bikes, these were built with the Titanium top tube and down tube bonded into steel lugs
and alloy headtube, these Ti bikes are the same frames as the 1994 Dyna-Tech range.
These frames are really good and very strong. Best to build it up with Mavic rims and stx-rc or above groupset.
heres some of my Raleighs, the two bikes together the blue one is a K2 brazed and the black one is a Titanium bonded (all still in one piece)

My first decent mountain bike was one of these in much that state albeit was missing just the wheels which I already had a set waiting I had upgraded on another bike. That was £30 from an auction back in 1996 ish? Was a great riding bike, I rode in loads in that transition year before you get your first car!

I’d wait and find one complete with wheels/bars/seatpost. Won’t pay that much more to find something complete. Waiting to find wheels/seatpost etc that are the right size unless you can get karma ones will just cost more and be a pain.
