Retro Guru
Okey-dokey my lovely retrobike family.... here's a game for you.

Who can guess what I've got.... it has a serial number of 7, it is from 1992, it has its dealer paperwork and original invoice, and it's currently built with an offensive mix of totally retro and awfully modern parts (What sort of SICK SOB would put a Selle SMP on this bike?????)

It's titanium ;)

Sorry for the mud, and the terrible photo.... wait, I'm not sorry about the mud, that's what it was made for!!!

Good luck :D Hopefully I've finally found something you guys can be excited about. Well... I guess I did that two weeks ago. Maybe something to be more excited about.

Peacock Fade

Re:

Elevated chainstays and a fade paintjob? First thought is a Fat Chance but welding doesn't look neat enough.

I need to think a little more about this

Could it be a Vulcan.

I thought that at first, but it looks like TIG and all the Vulcans I've seen have been fillet brazed, could be an exception though :? ...

Re: Lucky #7 (now try and guess what it is)

It's titanium, if that helps ;)

Also that blurry thing is my foot. It was made 2 years before the bike.

Is it a One Off? I´ve seen an ECS frame with an similar paint scheme...

Much closer

Here's a picture of the down tube and the sticker....

if nobody gets it by tomorrow I'll post the back of the dealer booklet and that will give it away (gotta love having full paperwork....)

Thanks to everyone who is playing!!! It's making me excited to reveal the bike!!!!

Klein fullsusser? - No. rather not.

Who made Titanium ECS frames? Merlin?

Edit:

Oh! I think I know. That Bolder contraption...
Boulder Intrepid TI ?
That last pic might be the seat-tube-inserted dampener "from behind".
