New to all this. Just stripped my Marin Eldridge Grade ready for a proper once over.

Interested to know what you'd recommend for headset, mechs, pedals, hubs etc...

Also have Manitou Spyder R fork I want to change the oil on.

So many different products out there!

Cheers

Hi, any good quality grease will be fine, i have used various makes but for years now have just used silkolene pro, simply because i have large tubs of it for my motorbikes, and its red

Oh, and motorbike products tend to be cheaper than mtb labeled equivalents.

Everyone has their own favourite, the one you use is the right one basically :)

BelRay waterproof grease, always used it on motorbike parts and have a tub of it so that's what gets used, and it's blue.
I have rock oil fork oil so thats what I used.

I used Weldtite TF2 which came with the bearings last time.... seemed pretty expensive.

Looks like a trip to the local AutoFactors for motorbike grease!

Cheers
