lovely steel?

Howdy,

I think I'm needing a quality steel hardtail, modernish do-it-all, but still 26". Medium frame, possibly a large small! (I'm 5'8").

Early Cotic Soul, Slackline, Prince albert or similar. Maybe? not looking for anything too heavy or hardcore, but might consider a cheap inbred too.

Standard QR front and rear, 1 & 1/8" headtube & discs.


Anyone have anything to tempt me with?

Charge Duster? great bikes, i have the Prestige skinny version, but these are meant to be fine too and you can pick them up cheap.

This may be the beer talking, but I have a lovely pipedream scion 853 frame (well bike), I've barely used since owning. It would easily qualify as mint, almost new in fact as I've probably ridden less than 100 miles on it.

If it floats your boat and when I'm sober I can contemplate parting with it, let me know.

If you search the readers bikes section, you'll find a build thread.

I dont really want to sell it, but it never gets ridden as I dont want to damage it (sad I know).

I have a small PipeDream Sirius 853 full bike I'm looking to part with, X-Fusion forks (tapered but standard QR) and dropper post, XT 2 x 10 groupset and brakes, Hope hubs, stem, QRs, headset, Renthal bar, Stans 650B rims set up tubeless (can be set up as a 26").

A few years old and not had an awful lot if use but I just don't use it enough.
