Lovely blue anodised Marin haul

So I'm just about to turn in the other night and decide to have a quick mooch around Ebay before I do. And there it is - just listed - the blue anodised Marin handlebar I need for my '95 Palisades Trail rebuild. I click 'Buy it now' ($19) and it's mine!

During an email exchange with the seller I mention that I'd be interested in any other blue anodised bits he may have laying around. And it's my lucky day - he's dismantling a '95 Indian Fire Trail (a 17.5 inch - too small for me) and all the bits are ready to go. He offers me first refusal. $55 for the lot!

The package rocked up this morning. And I'm chuffed to bits. There are a few signs of wear, but no biggies, and overall the bits are in really good condition. All the brake cables and springs are here. The bar even has the Marin end plugs. BTW, the blue cage bolts are the ones I bought for the bike BITD - found 'em in the toolbox.

Happy new year guys! :xmas-big-grin:

liking those blue brakes - most coloured brakes seem to look a bit cheap - but with just a hint of colour they look awesome

What Oliver said: those brakes are gorgeous. It's a pity they never did them in green. Marins seemed so much classier then.
great find mate, in immaculate nick. Nice one :)
