L-O-T-U-S stands for Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious! Guess thats just the cars as that frame looks very well made. ;)
Can't wait to see the final build. I remember going to a bike show in Birmingham in 1994 and remember seeing an XTR equiped, skinny steel framed ASTON MARTIN mountain bike, loved the understated classy look of it, your build reminded me of it, thanks.

I think the Aston Martin bike was a Roberts in disguise..... If I remember rightly! May have been a d.o.g.s. b.o.l.x.?

I remember it being a very classy bike too.....

Lotus & Aston Martin Now they got together Lotus for the weekend racing and Aston for the week at the office

Thanks Benbonty for the YouTube link of the Aston Martin, that bike looks even better than I imagined! Is it just me, but no modern mountain bike these days looks as classy as that. Nowdays everything is painted black, bring back skinny steel and hand polished XTR I say ;)

More black here is some pics of the Nos sports XTR M900 hubs built around Nos Mavic 231 CD rims and Wheelsmith black nipples & spokes. Also added a XTR M900 cassette with alloy black locking nut

Here are the XTR hubs and cassette :D

Not 100% what these wheels are going to look like on this Lotus frame as ive not mounted them yet  But one thing i have to say is i think they look like there classic racing looking wheels

?

Jeez where do you get this stuff?

Its gonna look amazing, the word stealth springs to mind!

Thanx boys fingers X i have no idea what they will look like  Not mounted them yet or put them next to the frame :D
