Looking to sell some of my collection....

Going back to these type of bikes not being en vogue at the moment, trying to sell 10 all at once might saturate the market a bit, maybe trickle them out 2 at a time. Also, one of the features of Retrobike is that members tend not to pay high prices for items, even with ebay and paypal taking a cut, they might sell better on ebay as you will get a wider audience. Last thing, being prepared to post or deliver within the price will help otherwise you are limiting the audience even more. Phew, that's a lot of typing for a friday, I'm off to the pub

Very wise comments and all very welcome! Now enjoyer drink. Cheers 🍻

They are not brands I know much about. What do you think they are worth?
Gios 750, Olmo 450, I think the Colnago, looking at recent sales etc around 700, possibly less. You are correct the market is down considerably on 80s stuff, however, you get more breaking for parts than selling complete. The OP probably built these up, always the most costly option. In theory, started each at a £1 auction on EBay would reflect the true value, but then there’s the 12.8% commission to take off, plus the realisation for the seller that they paid too much in the first place

Just put one up on ebay - not the best one nor the worst (poor wording as they are all great, but hopefully you get my drift) and see what happens
If it sells for more than you'd hoped, try another. If it sells for less, then you've only undersold one bike and mothball the rest for another time. Either way, it will indicate the state of the market

Yeah I'd probably agree with those prices. TBH is the OP thinks those prices are laughable then perhaps they aren't ready to sell into the current market. I don't know the reasons for selling such a fleet in one go but if you want a good price for them you might be best hanging on to them for a while (although there is no guarantee that prices will get better any time soon).
