Looking to buy some mtb lights but don't wish to remortgage.

Tesco Cree 3w LED torches. Quite a narrow beam, but £8 each!
They run off AA batteries, only for about 1-2hours at a time, but that's enough and you can always carry more.

If your looking for a dedicated bike system, Lumicycle are doing a deal on their new 3 LED system, but they are still not cheap. Probably going to try them out this weekend at the set2rise race.

The Cateye £30-40 LED ones are surprisingly good. I used two all winter.

Have to say the Tesco lights are good for the dosh, decent beam and seem quite rugged, but they do get through batteries like they are going out of fashion...........

i will be ordering some tonight .

the P7 torches are excellent , so that light should do the job for MM .
