looking for my first road bike

Hi I am new on here, what a grate site! I am looking for my first road bike. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on my first road bike as I have a bad back want to make sure the riding style wasn’t going to aggravate my condition to much. I am 6 foot tall ideally I am looking to for something to do around 50/60 (quite hilly) miles once or twice a fortnight for a couple of months so probably would kneed at least a double chain set. I would be looking to spend up to £100 delivered to Argyll.

please dont think i`m being rude but £100 delivered is going to get you a bike that will put you off for life!! :shock:

if you could find one at all

i would put an ad up in your local shops asking if anyone has a bike sitting in a shed you`ll be amazed how many there are lurking in the darkness even then you`ll have to budget time and cash to bring it up to gruff....
