I find myself with a new 9 speed grouppo and a set of 26” wheels and I thought perhaps I should build a short travel full suspension bike just cos. So, I’m looking for something small or smallish medium, 80mm ish travel, for V brakes, good condition bushings/pivots/shocks/moves bits, 1 ⅛” head tube, with or without a compatible fork. I had a couple of FSRs in the past and enjoyed riding a 1999 S Works FSR so something similar might be good. Happy to look at scruffy/unfashionable/weird, but no Marins or Giants.

TIA!

Got a few GT idrives, but not sure if they're too big. Two are 18" or Medium frames, the other is a large. I do have a small Jamis Dakar but it's from 1995, so canti brake age, although no doubt you could run V brakes on it, not sure you'd want to.

Still got idrive frames for sale? I'm in the market for one in medium.
