Looking for 1" steerer threaded suspension forks

Good morning all,

I am currently in the process of restoring a full suspension mountain bike that somebody was going to send to landfill.

I am looking to change the front suspension fork but am really struggling to find anywhere that has them with a 1" threaded steerer. If need be i can convert to threadless, but since all the current headset and bearings are in really good nick i don't want to spend the extra on replacing the headset.

Any ideas or forks about for sale.

What bike is it?

Might help people advise fork choice...

All i can tell you is that the bike is a Shockwave SUS550. I believe it is a Halfords own brand bike. Nothing much but has been a good way of learning how to strip and service a bike, then putting it back together.

Once i have put a new or used front fork on it, i will use it mainly for canal towpaths and might give it a go at Cannock Chase.
