yes a g8 shoe; pre spd sole

my first real pair of cycling shoes (fit like a glove)....pre spd sole...toe clip only...
I still rate them as my best fitting shoe ever, even over my sidis......pity they don't make the latter versions any more.....booooooo

so good I just had to keep them.....at 1 stage I drilled the sole for spd cleats....with my suntour pedals.......(heavy beasts they were...crap bearings too) .........

look what I found (Old shoes)

Poobars anyone. Still got and use mine, still going strong......Oh no sorry I got that wrong.....they're looking like they've seen better days, yellow/green Nike sign has peeled and water comes through the cleat. Still good for a couple of years though!

Well you guys have inspired me to break out the polish & to clean my old shoes up.....
Hve never seen another pair here in NZ, they were brought in by the moto-cross importer of alpine star mx boots to test the market. Didn't take off. So I picked them up for a song.
will post pics when cleaned up......
